A unique opportunity to practice yoga in the gallery spaces, surrounded by works of art. Come and give yoga a try in this contemplative, relaxing environment.
Gallery front doors will be open 8.30-9am. The class will start promptly at 9am, and finish at 10am, before the Gallery is open to the public. Mats can be provided, but do bring your own if you have one. The class is suitable for beginners. It is recommended to wear loose, comfortable clothing and to bring a bottle of water. If you have an existing medical condition, please consult with your doctor to ensure it is safe for you to do this activity.

Dr Liz Croton is an NHS GP based in Selly Oak. She is passionate about helping people to live enjoyable and fulfilling lives. She uses many of the techniques that will be taught in this course, they are quick and produce fast results.

Lizzie is a Master Practitioner in Medical NLP and a practitioner in Thought Field Therapy and Psy-tap.

 

Preya Chauhan is the Director of Cherish Healing and has over 10 years experience with mindfulness and meditation.

Her qualifications are in Hatha yoga, Meditation teaching, and complementary therapies. Her clients include the Ministry of Justice, TATA Consultancy, The New Art Gallery Walsall and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

 

This is an interactive training for people wishing to learn skills of meditation, mindfulness and relaxation. All these techniques give you a solid foundation for your own practice. This workshop will give you a greater personal insight and a clearer overview of Meditation and Mindfulness. As well as, tools you can use in your every day life.  The practice can help you destress, sleep better and bring peace into your life.

  • People with an interest in developing calm, reducing stress
  • People who are have busy hectic lives that wish to slow down

This is a workshop designed to introduce nutrition and holistic healing aimed at reducing health conditions and weight issues related to hormone imbalance.  We will explore hypo and hyperthyroidism, oestrogen imbalances, diabetes and physical and lifestyle related stress.  It is a 2.5 hour workshop and forms part a wider weight management programme based on the principles of the Hormone Reset by Sarah Gottried

About the Trainer

Preya Chauhan is the Director of Cherish Healing and has worked with mindfulness and meditation for over 10 years.  Her qualifications include a teaching Meditation diploma, Bachelor of Science in Media and Communications, residential training with various body mind masters such as Paul Linden and Wendy Palmer, improvisation, meditation and dance. Her clients include the Ministry of Justice, The New Art Gallery Walsall, Multiple Sclerosis Society and Birmingham Probation Unit.
